The slop barrel is a large bucket in the studio into which we put clay trimmings and scraps. These scraps are reworked back into usable clay to make the next batch of work.

Why is our studio cat, Big Time, so hilarious? We shot this photo while he was observing Michael throw during the Tuesday night class. Biggie isn't happy unless he can be as close to Michael as possible.

Michael is continuing to produce work for the summer art fairs. He was in Elmhurst, IL last weekend where he was given a prize for 2nd place! He will be heading to Indianapolis the weekend of May 17th for the Broad Ripple Art Fair.
